We pledged at the start of 2019 that Medik8 would be 100% vegan by the end of the year. We’re happy to announce that we are very much on track with this goal. Ultimate Recovery Intense is the first of five remaining non-vegan products in the Medik8 range to be upgraded. Of course, we have never used animals in any of our products, but certain by-products like yoghurt extract and probiotics grown in milk cultures have remained in some of our legacy formulas. So we've given them a much needed update.⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀

We’ve removed silk serica from Ultimate Recovery Intense, which is derived from the silk worm. Instead, we’ve replaced it with allantoin, a natural extract of comfrey root. Adding softness and sumptuous texture as well as helping with application, allantoin is the perfect vegan-friendly replacement. It can also help speed up your natural skin cell regeneration for a soft, supple, fresh complexion.⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
