KOALAS SAVED. Recently our thoughts and hearts have been with our friends @medik8australia in Australia. The vast devastation caused by the bushfires has deeply saddened the entire Medik8 team and as a result, last week we made an urgent £2000 donation from our charitable umbrella, The Zipper Foundation.

PORT MACQUARIE KOALA HOSPITAL.
Based on the Mid North Coast of New South Wales, @portmacquariekoalahospital has been in operation since 1973 and is run by 4 staff members and 140 volunteers. The hospital rescues and rehabilitates Koalas in need of urgent care and due to the recent state of emergency the team has been inundated with calls for help.

SECOND CHANCE.
Rescued in November, Peter 🐨 was admitted with severe dehydration and burns to his paws. Thanks to the hospital and care of the staff and volunteers he was saved and given a second chance. He is now making a full recovery in the intensive care unit, but Peter is just one of many Koalas and native animals that need our help…

HELPING THE CAUSE.
With our donation we have been able to provide funds that will go towards the rehabilitation of the injured Koalas and new drinking stations that have recently been destroyed by the fires.

THE ZIPPER FOUNDATION.
