4000 FREE SANITIZERS MADE FOR THE ELDERLY & HOMELESS. HELP US.

On March 2nd (which seems like a year ago), we couldn’t get hold of any hand sanitizer for our office staff. So, we quickly created our own in the lab using a formula recommended by the WHO. Turned out to be much better than any high street gel we’d been buying. A pilot batch for staff was ready on the 5th. (swipe to image 2).

As you know, things became more and more serious as the constant reports from Italy dominated the news. When the Prime Minister requested ventilators, we knew we had to act and use our capabilities to help. The price for sanitizer on marketplaces was unaffordable and with sporadic availability in shops, we decided to switch all remaining manufacturing capacity to this new sanitizer formula and give it away for free to elderly, vulnerable and homeless people. Even the Hertfordshire Police have asked. They are our first delivery while we contact care homes in need (do you know one?) We’re calling this project #Medik8HelpingHands

The first batch of 4,000 sanitizers (images 3, 4, 5) is ready to ship and now we have all the full safety assessment and government clearances, we’re delivering them *responsibly* in person next week. We’ve saved another 1000 popped in free, in every medik8.com.cy order. Please read our blog post for the full background story (link in bio). ANOTHER 50,000
We want to produce 50,000 more free bottles but are having great trouble getting packaging as it’s in short supply plus we need a sponsor; maybe a large company (who has not been hit financially) and wants to help by sharing half the cost with us. We’ll print their logo on the label.
